FLOODIS main screen Reports section shows show all reports which are included in the geographical view "map" in form of list.
Reports are user-generated content submitted by FLOODIS users and are mainly made by georeferenced pictures associated to a set of data.
The reports list show a thumbnail and some information about each report sender and submission time, together with report submission status (see Inappropriate Contents). To show more Report Details just select a list element. Each element in the reports list has a different color on the right border, depending if it is a user or professional report.
On Tablets and PCs, Report Details are shown aside the reports list. On Smartphones the UI will navigate to the report details page, where it is possible to continue scrolling the report list using swipe gestures. Report Details include:
a detailed image, which can be enlarged and zoomed by pressing
a link to the report position on the map ()
a submission status indicator (see Inappropriate Contents)
a button () to flag the report as inappropriate (for registered users)
an indication of the water level (professional reports)
report description as submitted by the author
Registered users can flag inappropriate or offensive contents, or reports which violate service terms by logging in and selecting (). Report flagged as inappropriate will have this symbol For each report, its status can be:
Submitted (no icon): the report has been submitted to FLOODIS
Validated : the report was approved by FLOODIS administrator. It is not possible to flag a validated report.
Potentially inappropriate : the report was reported to FLOODIS as inappropriate. Selecting this icon, a box will appear with the number of times this content was reported as inappropriate. All reports flagged as inappropriate will be evaluated by FLOODIS administrators and potentially rejected. In sever cases of service terms violation, the author's account may be suspended.
As default setting, FLOODIS shows all reports in the last month in the current map area. It is possible to visualize reports related to historical events from the Events section, enabling Historical Data and selecting an Event. Remember to move the map in order to include in the geographical view the historical reports to be examined.
